A tight and closely fought contest on a huge pitch against a well organised team.

Dave Radders whipped in a ball from the right for Sean to head the winner with 3min remaining. MoM was Jason - solid tackles all game. Appa in goal took one for team. Dave made 11 formation changes in the final 7 minutes.

Genesis Res 5 - 0 Anstey Crown
Andy Curran and Nige and Vinney all away gave opportunities for some new faces to show themselves. A debut for Andy Cook, Chris Coward and Paul Humphreys. Genesis looked strong from the off. It wasn't long till Pete Baines got Genesis on thier way. 10mins later Pete scored again and Gensis were on top. Andy Parker tucked away the third with a cool finish between the keepers legs!! 3-0 up at half time. Genesis kept on the pressure and played some great football. The forth came from a great run from Paul Humphreys who played a one two and finished into the bottom corner. A great debut goal. James Smith made it five after a cross from Ben Bishop. A great team performance. Andy Cook awarded a deserved MoM.
