Genesis FC 3 - 3 Ingles

Even though this was the last game of the season, there was much to play for. The result of the game could decide weather we finish 4th or 8th in the league. Ingles pulled away with a goal but we came back with a pull back from Jez and a great finish by Alex. Ingles then went 2-1 up. At the start of the second half ingles scored again from a fere kick, but we kept fighting and got back in the game with a corner from Jez and a finish by Tyler. Ian then scored a great goal to bring us equal. both teams had a few chances in the closing minutes but it ended 3-3. Not the result we'd hoped for but it moved us up one place into 7th and there is still a chance for us to go up a place if other teams goal difference drops.

 

Alex Cuthbert landed heavy on his right heel in the game and ended up going off. After the game he was refered to Leicester Royal where an X-ray revealed 3 of this ankle bones had clased and crumbled. so he got his leg in plaster for the second time in his life.

 

There were also a few tears in the eyes of Tyler is it was the end of an ere with genesis. Tyler has been the 1st Team manager this year and done a great job, but is moving away to Birmingham next year. It was also the last game for Matt Kerry who's been a real asset to the club this year. Big losses to the club.
