Genesis FC is one of the first teams in the country to play with fairtrade footballs and play in a fairtrade kit, but no, we don’t have fairtrade oranges at half time. Unfortunately it is not possible to be fully recognized as an official “fairtrade football club” until the Fairtrade Foundation writes the criteria for it, which will hopefully be soon.

 

Genesis FC first started using Fairtrade footballs in February 05 and started using fiartrade kits in October 06. We are committed to using fairtrade balls and kits as we can help make a small difference to people’s lives in Pakistan.
